Whew.

I just hope next Saturday is just as successful.

Let's pretend
-that I'm not exhausted.
-that my eyes are not playing tricks on me and I'm not seeing double.
-that I have any computer skills at all.
-that I don't have to get up early tomorrow.
-that I have patience.

While we're at it, let's pretend
-that everyone has a nice full inbox of pictures I'd like to share from Easter.
-that the blog is up to date with new pictures and snippets from our lives.
-that I've printed out the best ones to give to grandparents.
-that I'm going to wake up without bags under my eyes and my hair will be naturally straight.

Staying Local

I think all of our "vacations" this year are going to be little get aways. We took Thursday and Friday of last week to return library books,

go to the zoo again,




stay at a hotel downtown (with a pool, of course),

and check out the State Museum.


How can you tell this was just as successful as a round trip to Disney World?

Lovin' the Warmer Weather

We've been fortunate that our spring break hasn't brought us snow. We're not in swimsuit weather, and our tans won't be as wonderful as if we'd gone to Florida, but for Indiana in late March/early April, you won't find us complaining.

Last Friday, we ventured to the zoo. Maddie stayed home to take a nap (and bust her lip), but the boys and I had fun (until Nick's legs turned to "toast" and he wanted to be carried).




The kids have really been enjoying their scooters and they've made up some game that incorporates them with the hats. I don't understand the rules, but every once in a while, I find myself in the middle of it, anyway.





Cooper told me today that hanging out with Nick and Maddie is wearing him out. I feel his pain, really I do!
