All Star

So, we've discussed Miss Maddie's arm before. But we got a chance to play ball in the yard again, and let me tell you, this one is a ball player. I can't get as much accuracy out of Jeff.

I'm so stinkin' proud.

Oh, and the shiner...courtesy of Cooper on the swing. We're still unclear if it's from his foot directly, or if that's the result of the landing in the mulch. Poor kid.

Guessing Game

So, one of these two people hit a homerun tonight.

Not figuratively...quite literally, thank you very much.

A humdinger of a line drive, just inches inside the left field line. (It helped that the sun was setting, and the third baseman and left fielder could barely see anything.) But there were no overthrows, no "dead balls", no errors on the play. It was just that the batter was faster at getting around the bases than the fielders were at catching up.

Do you know which one hit the homerun?

I'll give you a hint: it was the 34 year old MOTHER OF THREE!!

*yes, I am totally making a big deal out of this. It will never happen again, but tonight, I feel oh-so-good*

A Better Black and White

I am determined to learn my version of Photoshop. This may be the end of me.
First up: a black and white that doesn't look "muddy". We're not quite there, but it's closer.

Yes, I know I've "blown out" our faces, but I'm up way past my bedtime. I'll have to start again tomorrow!
