Level 1 -- Done!
Wednesday night, we attended Nick's preschool program. It's a fun little get-together where everyone "graduates" -- from Level 1 to Level 2 or from Level 2 to Kindergarten. Nick's group sang the "ABC's" and a pretty little "Rainbow Song".
You may not have seen this sight before -- it's a rare shot of an Engle boy singing when the person in charge wants them to sing. Miracles happen every day, people. Sometimes they just take the itty-bitty form.
About mid-way through the program, I realized that I now need a second "school scrapbook" to hold these treasures. Good heavens. By the way, we got his end of the year evaluation, and believe it or not, Nick excels in talking to adults. Go figure.
How do you get 3 kids to sit on a bench? They did it themselves. I had nothing to do with it. Had I asked, they would have run in 3 different directions.
Maddie is looking forward to preschool...especially since she has discovered they have barrels of cheeseballs at these special gatherings.
This last picture literally took my breath away. When I changed it to black and white, this kid of mine turned into my dad. Hoo-boy...he's pretty excited about it; he's looking forward to getting Paw-paw's oversized hands and his muscles. I told Paw-paw if he could put in a good word for vegetables, that would be great. Good ol' dad said I could count on him!
