Labor Day

So, here we are, at the official end of summer. Boy, did this summer go fast. It was really nice having everyone home today, and kind of makes me sad that tomorrow is just a regular old Tuesday, complete with errands to run and soccer practice in the evening.
We've had some changes over the summer:
Around Memorial Day

Today at Southeastway Park

Collectively, they've shot up about 12 feet or so, and have made me laugh about a million times over the summer. Busy little people.

This last one makes me happy. At the beginning of the summer, if Nick looked at Maddie, we'd have screaming. Here they were at the park, having some sort of conversation. God love Nick; he just smiled and nodded like he understood her foreign language ramblings. Maybe he does.

It makes me sad that Summer is almost over- even if that means that Fall is upon us (my favorite time of year). Next year will bring a whole new experience during summer as our kids will be 1 year older. Time goes too fast. LOVE the picture of nick and maddie. Once they get old enough to talk about 'serious' stuff- you will worry when you see them like this : )
