The first reason is kind of obvious.
The second is that I got to watch it. All the coordination of the US government to pull off an inauguration pales in comparison to the effort in claiming the t.v. for myself. But I've done it; never forget this day.

Ohhhh so are those the boots they are all talking about on BBC? Bidens wife looks good in the boots! Anyway. I'm glad you got to see it all. Come to think of it, I don't think I have ever paid attention to past inaugurals much myself.
